Born in 1995 in Tampa, FL.

Levon Riggins lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, and his figurative practice explores Black identity through scenes of leisure, tenderness, and introspection. Working primarily in acrylic, he uses stylized figures, vivid color, and symbolic imagery to challenge reductive narratives of Black identity and examine the tension between self-definition and perception.

Riggins has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout Los Angeles. His work seeks to expand the visual language surrounding Black personhood through images that foreground vulnerability, imagination, and psychological complexity.
